About

Eric Arzubi, MD, in a professional headshot.

Eric Arzubi, MD, has spent his career building mental health care where there was little or none. Based in Billings, Montana, since 2013, he co-founded Frontier Psychiatry in March 2020 to bring timely, evidence-based psychiatric care to rural patients by telehealth.

Before Frontier, he was Chair of Psychiatry at Billings Clinic. There he built Montana's first psychiatry residency program, its first EmPATH emergency psychiatric unit, its first Project ECHO behavioral health hub, and Billings' first school-based health center.

He trained at Yale, earning his MD and completing residency in adult psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

His path to medicine was not direct. He first worked in finance at Morgan Stanley and as a Latin America correspondent for Bloomberg. That background shapes how he approaches care: as a system to be measured, financed, and fixed.
